Shortly after arriving at the city park,
I shot Steve Weeks and his wife, Patty (formerly Eckles). |
Then
Steve shot me and Patty.
(Convincing me in the process that this was the BEST REUNION
EVER!) |
Peggy
(Farr) Shutt, Shelia (Taylor) Waltz, Mary (Woods) Slauson, and Lynne
(Lowden) Peterson. I think Mary was making Shelia take a pledge of
some kind. |
Bill
McDonald still smiles most of the time. |
Juanita (Little) Fettkether joined us
as well. I didn't get to talk to her before she left -- working
the next morning, I believe. |
Karna (Osborn) Dougherty still looks the same. Mark it down to great genetics and the benefit of innocence. Note Penny and Jim talking in the background. |
(R to L) Darrell Cameron, Patty (Hager)
Akers, and Allan Akers. |
As you can see in the background, when
Skip Greenwood grabs his belt, people pay attention. |
Mr. Bassett joined us Friday night,
as did Mary Jo's sister, Debbie. Note Cliff Scholten in the background. |
Mrs. Thornton also joined us Friday
night. As you can see, she makes a strong case for the long-term value
of girl's PE. |
It was also great to have Jerry Scholten
join us Friday night. Other than triggering a couple of Junior High
noon dodgeball flashbacks. |
The lovely and vivacious Kathy (Scullen) Becker. Edit: Jim Smith says he is also in this photo. I'll have to take his word for it, as I still haven't spotted him. |
Steve Weeks has had more plastic surgery
than Michael Jackson. Pass it on. |
So Debbie says to Jim, "Did you hear
about the crosseyed schoolteacher? She couldn't keep her pupils straight." |

Mary Jo (Drake) Adams, and our adopted
classmate, sister Debbie. |
The obligatory "Chip and glass"
photo we try to get every reunion -- without too much difficulty as
it turns out. |
I got several photos of Allan and Patty.
This is one of my favorites. |
I finally got a photo of the elusive
Debbie Holiday. (Inside joke, as every time I aimed the camera,
there she was.) |
See what I mean? |
Mary Jo took this candid shot of me (Dave)
taking a picture. |
