Chuck reports that he will be unable to attend the reunion, but sends his greetings and this update:

  I married a girl from Des Moines in 1974 (a Lincoln High graduate).  Her name is Susan and we met at Drake while we were both students.  We have two children, Shawn, 22, and Heather,17.  The baby just graduated from Winterset this spring and will attend Simpson in the fall on a voice performance scholarship.  Shawn is the lawn and garden specialist for sears.com and is taking classes to obtain a degree in computer programming. 

  I completed my BME at Drake in 1975 and decided to return to the farm where I stayed for 25 years until I had to quit due to my health.

  I am now a Real Estate Professional for First Realty/GMAC listing and selling homes.  I also teach home buying and selling classes for the Des Moines Adult Education program, the best way to learn something is to teach it! I really like what I do and am quite happy. 

  Susan is a studio piano teacher for Keyboards West piano studio in West Des Moines and the organist at the Christian Science Church on Grand.  She also is the accompanist for the Winterset High School and Junior High choirs.
