Guy Wife: Shelley Children: I still live in Ankeny and remain president/ceo of Wesley Day Advertising, West Des Moines. I enjoy interaction with clients, and continue to be active in "real advertising" with clients around Iowa, a couple near Atlanta, and our most recent addition just outside of Toronto. I am also fortunate enough to remain on the Adjunct Faculty of Simpson College, where I teach the occasional advertising, marketing, and management course. Truth is, I am an imposter in the world of academe, but have yet to be found out. Or at least called out. (check out my ad class web site at www.simpson.edu/~sanderso) I am most proud of my kids. Nathan is 22, living in Ames, and driving busses for CyRide and Midwest Coaches. The man LOVES driving big vehicles and entertaining audiences, and he has definitely found a way to do both. Kristie, 25, is a third year student doctor at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Hopefully she and her husband, Darren Semrow (also from Ankeny and the finest son-in-law a father could ever hope for) will be returning to practice in Iowa after graduation. Other interests change with the season and my mood. But I am currrently really into Texas Holdem (poker), and play online with some frequency and reasonable success. I am a fan of the Iowa State Cyclones through thick and thin. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Especially some of the classmates who will be attending for the first time. See you then. |
