My wife Julia and I live in Cape Coral, Florida, where I am principal of Tropic Isles Elementary School. We left Winterset in 1989, living in Manitowoc, Wisconsin for 10 years before moving to Florida. We have a house on a saltwater canal just off the Intercoastal Waterway, and enjoy boating in the Gulf of Mexico. It's not unusual to see sea otters, manatees, and alligators swimming by our dock - sights we definitely didn't see in Iowa or Wisconsin!

Our son Stephen graduated from the University of Wisconsin last December, and is currently attending the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Academy. His college graduation was delayed by a tour of duty in Iraq with the Wisconsin National Guard. Thankfully, he survived the experience unscathed.

I attended our 15th year reunion, but haven't been back since. So, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this summer at the 35th!
